Double Enchantment by Kathryne Kennedy Love Spell 09/08 Bk.2 Relics of Merlin
This book is... PURE MAGIC! Take a Regency England setting, add a bit of magic, throw in a bit of Black Beauty fairy tale and you have a romance you won't be able to put down. Jasmina's simple illusion spell went disastrously wrong, with a very promiscuous double, running about London...then the lowly baronet who acts as if he knows her, intimately.
Double Enchantment by Kathryne Kennedy
London in the 1800s, only this London is full of magic and your ranking in nobility is based on how much and what kind of magic you have. Lady Jasmina created a double of herself, but it was more than just an illusion and now Prince Albert tells her that she must work with a Baronet -- a shape shifter -- to track it down. Baronets are snubbed by her class, but she finds herself fighting her attraction to him from the moment they meet. Action, adventure and love. Good read. NFM
#592 Enchanting the Lady by Kathryne Kennedy (Love Spell)

Enchanting The Lady, by Kathryne Kennedy- Love Spell- Jan/08
In a world where magic ruled everything, Felicity Seymour couldn't perform even the simplest spell. If she didn't pass her testing, she'd lose her duchy--and any hope of marriage. But one man didn't seem to mind her lack of dowry: a darkly delicious baronet who had managed to scare away the rest of London's Society misses.

Shewolf/Kelley suggested that our local Romance Reading Group read this for our March selection and I'm glad that she did. Set in 1882 England, titles go along with the level of magic that one posesses and our heroine has none. Or does she? A quick, interesting read with likable characters (H, h and their best friends/servants and several secondaries). There were a couple of slow points but overall an excellent read. Enchanting the Lady by Kathryne Kennedy
The story is about Felicity, who should be a Duchess, bur she has no magic and in this London, your rank is due to your magic level. Since she has none, she is amazed when Sir Terrence Blackwell begins to court her. She has always been invisible to most people, so his attention is very attractive to her. Unfortunately, he is on the trail of a magic relic and believes she may have something to do with it.

Sir Terence Blackwell knew the enchanting woman before him wasn't entirely without magic. Was she using it herself, or was it being used against her?
