Continuing the saga begun in CRADLE OF SECRETS, Sonny Montgomery travels to Columbia to rescue her infant niece, Ellie, who was stolen from her mother, Serena.  Cash Montgomery, Sonny's brother and the baby's father, is missing.  After a harrowing rescue which Sonny barely escapes, she is stopped at the airport by Gil Waite, a bounty hunter who has been tailing her in hopes she'll lead him to Cash.  Her chance to escape unnoticed by the drug lord who kidnapped baby Ellie ruined, Sonny allows Gil to lead her out of the airport, and into more danger than she dreamed possible!

Sonny had to rely so much on God in the story -- warnings from "other sources" called out to her and some made more sense that what God was telling her, but she prayed and listened to God.  Gil never failed her. 

The idea for this story was good but I think Ms. Mondello could of done a much better job in writing it!!  I only finished it because I wanted to know what had happened to Cash and the baby Ellie and .......

WHO WAS TAMMIE GARDNER, REALLY????? Tammie was teaching her second semester at Winchester College and it was near the end of the semester. Her students had taken samples from themselves and their parents and matched it with their own DNA to show the genetic makeup of their family. Tammie had lost her parents two years ago but had used hair from her mother's hairbrush and skin shavings from her father's razor. Her sample was there only to round out the results. Now she has found out that her parents were NOT her parents.
