     This book was on my TBF list for a long, long time... ever since, in fact, I read the book directly after this one, which was the first of Lyn Stone's Special Ops books that I read. 
   The stories in the series are not only romances laced with action and adventure, but SEXTANT is a government agency that fights terrorism with one interesting difference:  the members of SEXTANT all have some sort of psychic gifts ~ how cool is that?  Of course I was immediately intrigued by the premise and each story that I've read has been a keeper.  And finally finding the one book that I didn't have ~ and this being the month in which I get to work on series I collect ~ was even better.  It was great to finally read Holly's and Will's story; it was certainly more emotional than I had expected, but it lived up to all expectations ~ and then some.  VERY, VERY, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

#5 in the Mission:  Impassioned series.  I've enjoyed this series.

Molly's ex-husband is stalking her so she asks FBI agent Damien Perry for help because she thinks he's her brother's friend (though he's actually just colleagues and non particularly friendly). Damien accepts and promptly falls in love with Molly and her daughter. But even if he manages to frighten Jack away will he stay around afterwards?

Someone's trying to kill secret agent Cate Olin, and Dr. Nick Sandro, neurosurgeon and Cate's childhood friend, is charged with her recuperation and care. But this is one convalescence that'll be anything but restful or relaxing with assassins dogging them across the Italian countryside...

I really enjoy books from this era.  The heroine is a strong character but not over the top.  The hero also seems to be very likeable.

Jack is an agent with a mission to free a boy from prison so that he can infiltrate the father's lab making a deadly poison for terrorists. When the plan goes wrong he has to kidnap Solange, but then he falls in love with this French doctor, but she gets poisoned when they're trying to stop the terrorists. Will she survive or will he have to face the guilt of killing yet another woman he loves?

This is book #5 of the Mission Impassioned series.

Rene LeBlanc and Mark Alexander trained in special ops in the US years earlier but then lost touch with each other when Mark went back to France.
