I loved Fabian and how he restored Laura’s self-confidence and the lovely descriptions of Italy.

Fabian’s secretary is off on honeymoon so she asks her friend Laura to run the concert for charity instead and Fabian falls in love with this cool English rose, but will she accept his proposal of marriage?

Another good one

The third Maggie Cox book I read that I wasn't too impressed by, the one that convinced me that despite an interesting blurb, her books will not interest me. I found the heroine very wishy-washy, the connection between her and the hero less than convincing.

The beginnings a bit slow but overall it was a good read. I was facsinated by Fabian because his words and actions didn't match. Here was a sensitve passoniate man who wanted nothing to do with emotions. You were just waiting for the light bulb to go off in his head. And when it did he didn't disappoint. Laura was a good foil for Fabian but she didn't hold my attention the way he did.

Enjoyed this one! I always like a girl who is no stunningly beautiful and not to agressively overpowering.

Another fun and light read. Fabian is a strong, though emotionally challenged guy and Laura is a bit naïve seeming for someone who had been married, but it was fun

Bliss Maguire springs into action when woman with a small child, faints at the cosmetic counter where she works. The woman is the sister of Dante di Andreas. Dante offers her a temporary live-in position to take care of his niece. Dante is way out of Bliss Maguire's league, Bliss knows she has nothing to offer that would keep him in her life.

Fabian felt that  his life was moving at speed and the time has come for him to get married except that he did not know where to find the wife he was looking for.  Based on his past with his father, the loss of his mother and the betrayal of his first wife, he did not want someone to love just to provide him with the children he desires.
