Margaret St. George

309. Margaret St. George ~ The Pirate and His Lady ~ Sil. Dreamscapes

First off I have to say that, typically, pirate stories are among my very least favourite in the romance genre.  But I did like this story, although i did get annoyed with Elizabeth when she would get on her high horse about Richard's domineering masculinity ~ especially when she knew that he was from two hundred years in the past and she knew the dynamics of the times.  And yes, while Richard was overbearing, he had nothing on Elizabeth!
But the story progressed and so did the characters and just past the half-way mark i settled deeper into the story ~ it helped that Elizabeth seemed to grow up a titch.  But the problem with that was definitely mine.  Again, not an earth-shaking story, but a pleasant way to spend a few hours.

Backcover Synopsis - He was a great advertisement for heaven!

The sexy blond guy who appeared before Brett Thatcher in the swirling Colorado snow looked anything but angelic.  In tight jeans and a leather jacket, he almost made her forget she was the chief suspect in her ex-husband's murder.  Whoever he was, Sam Angel was all that stood between her and prison.
