Marion Lennox
Wanted: Royal Wife and Mother
Another good read in the series of "By Royal Appointment". Very different story about a mother seperated from her son and the reuniting.
Their Lost-and-found family by Marion Lennox
Fantastic work as always from Marion Lennox. Dr Georgie Turner has met her match when she reunites with Dr Alistair Carmichael. Add a wedding, a missing brother and a cyclone - and watch the action and emotions pour out.
In Dr. Darling's Care by Marion Lennox (HMR #163, Jul 04)
Edited from the back: On her way to a locum job, Dr. Lizzie Darling runs into her new boss. Unfortunately she's in her car at the time, leaving Dr. Harry McKay with a broken leg! Lizzie doesn't want to be a family doctor, or to get involved in the tiny community of Birrini. She doesn't want to get involved with Harry, either, no matter how attractive and likeable he is. But, as the only available doctor, she has to stay. Slowly but surely, Lizzie finds her heart going out to Birrini and its dangerously charming doctor . . .
I can't believe this has been in my tbr as long as it must have been b/c I love Marion Lennox's work and I would expect that I'd snap up any of her books when they came in the door. I'm embarrassed to admit that I've no idea when this one came in my door. I know that I didn't buy it in '04 b/c I didn't get behind in my HMR reading til '05 or '06. This is quintessential Marion. The community and supporting cast of characters are lovable, even the fiance(e)s (yes, two -- one each for the H and h). Humor, affection, sweetness. A feel-good community-based romance. (As I've said in other reviews, I like books with a feel for friends and community and this is one that gives that.) NFM

Christmas Proposals (Three Christmas Romances)
Wanted: Royal Wife and Mother by Marion Lennox, HR Aug08, #888
Kelly married into Royalty, but was treated harshly. Her son was removed from her and she was tossed out of the country. But her husband is now dead and her son is the crown prince. She can reclaim her son and her life, but at what cost and does she want all the trappings of royalty again?
Books have a feel about them and the underlying feeling of this book is hope. Somehow Lennox weaves hope into every sentence, this feeling is particularly strong throughout the latter portion of the book, but it is there in the beginning, too. Thumbs up!
The Prince's Outback Bride
This was a lovely read. I really felt as if I was in Pippa's dusty little run-down cabin at the beginning of the book. And I cried all the way through the final two chapters!
