Michele Dunaway

The Marriage Campaign by Michele Dunaway follows Lisa Meyer who is a campaign fund-raiser and Mark Smith who could really help her candidate.  Unfortunately Lisa and Mark have a history. 

Awww!  Another great title by Michele Dunaway!  I loved the "homecoming" theme.

I also thought that the H/h was extremely realistic in many different aspects!  This is a story that most of us can relate to on more than one level.  

This is an older book...I visited a used bookstore recently...but just as good!

Hart Hampton is in a slump and after an accident knocks him out of one race his aunt pulls him out of the next one. To keep the press from writing that he is injured badly he is going to a kid's camp to do charity work.

Paralegal Kate has always been a small-town girl with plans for a career as a lawyer, then a home and family, so she's concentrating on her studies first. Her boss is willing to take her on when she succeeds, but she doesn't know if that's the best career move.

Rachel returns home to Indiana after finding her fiancée and boss in bed with another.  However, things go from bad to worse when he demands her recipes saying they were created while she worked for him.  She goes to the hometown law firm and ends up hiring her old friend Colin to represent her.  After the two deal with their baggage from the past, can they find a future – even though she lives in NYC and he in Indiana?

I really enjoyed this book.  I got to the end of it with a really good feeling and then thought, heh, where were the really great sex scenes?  Wow, I really liked this book and the writer just barely touched the surface on Hart and Kellie's sex lives.  Tells me the writer is great, when I didn't even notice that until the end.

Rachel is cooking up a storm in  NYC while her fiance is stirring up trouble with the sous chef. Rachel returns home to ask for help from her high school crush turned lawyer. He loves small town life, she longs for the bright lights of the city. Would they both go, both stay or part? How could they achieve their dreams?

Just finished this book.  I loved how tenacious Hart was in chasing Kellie.  The more I read these NASCAR books, I find myself wondering what the lure is.  I have several friends who are true NASCAR fans, and live for race days.  I tried to watch the Daytona 500 this weekend, but found the commercials distracting. Must be better on a sports station dedicated to the sport.

I love the chemistry between the two characters of this book...she a quite aspiring lawyer, he a jet-setting photojournalist.  Two people who don't seem compatible for the long run.  I like how the hero finally realizes that the jet-setting life he leads truly isn't the life for him and changes himself for the love of his life.  I really enjoyed this book.
