MOON KISSED by Michele Hauf
Kiss Me Deadly
My first read by Michele Hauf; another book pulled out of the TBR in honor of the month! And what a good read; another reason not to avoid the paranormal books, not that I really needed another type of books to add to my collections !
THE HIGHWAYMAN
Max, an immortal also known as the highwayman, needs a witch's cat in order to release him from the demon inside him. Along comes Aby and things are not as simple as he thought.
Moon Kissed (2009) by Michele Hauf (SN # 72)
So far I have enjoyed this whole series and will be sorry when it ends. Bella was very good for Severo (and he was good for her as well) and took the whole paranormal being real thing quite well. She was able to not only keep her head about it but balance her independence with Severo’s protective nature.
Kiss Me Deadly (2007) by Michele Hauf (SN # 24)
The second book in the ‘Bewitching the Dark’ series. I had to go back and read the blurb from the first to remember exactly who was in it. It did give more a lot more insight into that book knowing the history of that main character. I definitely recommend reading these in order. I also read the book concerning the child from this union although that didn’t matter as much in the long run.
Book 158 - four shorts to equal one book
Lords of the Underworld: The Darkest Prison by Gena Showalter - this was a short that was a prequel to the new LofU books that started this month. Interesting take on Greek gods/Titans, especially Nike and Atlas.
The It Girls book 2: Flawless by Michelle Hauf
This is book 2 in the It Girls miniseries from Silhouette Bombshell. I absolutely adored book 1, which was written by a favorite author. There was nothing wrong with book 2 other than the fact that it had to follow up an exceptional book by Erica Orloff. Poor Michele did a good job, but she's no Erica. I liked this but didn't love it as much as book 1. - Angela
57. Getaway Girl by Michele Hauf (Silhouette Bombshell Sep06)
This book had its ups and downs for me. This started out very interesting but didn’t go the way I was thinking it would. There were some odd moments but at the same time the suspense and action was what kept me going. From looking at Michele Hauf’s website there never was a next book to this series. I hope maybe she will continue this down the line in the Romantic Suspense?
52. Once a Thief by Michele Hauf (Silhouette Bombshell Jul05)
Exciting book full of excitement and suspense to keep me turning the pages. There were some surprising twists towards the end that I didn’t see coming. Very enjoyable.
