Robyn Grady

Another one sent to me early by Robbie. I liked this book. Even though at the beginning, the hero was unbearable, he redeemed himself by the end. He was a sexist arrogant b*st*rd at the beginning, but after he resolved a certain number of personal problems, he came around.

Gage Cameron had left his home in Sydney 12 years ago, but he also left Jenna Darley, the woman he loved. But the bad boy wasn't going anywhere and unbeknownst to her, her stepmother had accused him of coming on to him. Even though her father didn't believe his wife, he still suggested that Gage leave. Now with her father dying (in the same plane crash that killed Jenna's sister and bil), Gage came back. Jenna doesn't care about inheriting any of her father's assets; all she wants is custody of her niece, Meg. So Gage suggests they marry to better her chances. Can he walk away again? This time not only from Jenna but from Meg too.

My opinion:  I loooooooooved this story.  Robbie was nice enough to send it to me early.  Thanks, Robbie.  Gage was the perfect hero: no unsightly arrogance or belittling behavior.  Jenna was also near perfect: she knew what she wanted and didn't purposely misunderstand things.  A++++

All I remember about this book is that I really liked it.

This was a heart-ripping book. It starts out tugging at the reader’s heartstrings right from the beginning, but as the reader moves into the last third of the story the feelings intensify and that only has to do with the losses that Jenna has faced. The other aspect of this book is the relationship developing between the h/H—the feelings intensify throughout the book building to a crescendo and then the bottom drops out. (Yes, it still has an HEA.) Grady writes with intensity, passion and, well…desire. Thumbs up!

Jenna had lost so much over the years, but her most recent loss has been the hardest. When a prior lost love comes back into her life she is skeptical and scared, but she needs Gage to help her recoup another loss. Can they move back to the future?

Sophie and Cooper have decise to have a one night stand.   Then three months later...

Tate wants Donna back in his life.  He needs her help and he is not above balckmail to get it.  Can he get the results he wants, or does he need to change his plan.

This was a fun story that I really enjoyed.  It kept your interest, and surprised you a couple of times.  I really enjoyed it, and I would highly recommend it.

A struggle to be a strong woman makes Sofie a delight. She makes a choice and stands by her new persona no matter what. Even when she becomes pregnant and the father wants life his way. Sofie teaches her unchangeable hero how to compromise. Again, Robyn, I love your voice and style!

I have to say that Robyn Grady did such a fantastic job of making Tate ruthless and arrogant that by the end of the story when he finally came around --- I still didn't like him!
