Eloquent Silence by Sandra Brown 1982 (Brilliance Audio recorded 2005)
One of the first things I heard on this audio was a disclaimer that times have changed and what was acceptable in 1982 may not be acceptable now. That made me curious. Listening to Joyce Bean tell the story, I could see why the disclaimer was there. We were definitely dealing with an alpha male (not one of my fav heros) among other things.
#35. Words of Silk by Sandra Brown
This is an older book published in 1984 and originally wrote 20 years earlier. THis was a classic love story. The woman is claustrophobic and gets trapped in an elevator with a handsome lawyer. Tey go back to his apartment and make love, (shes a virgin) and she ends up pregnant. He finds her .....................and the rest they say is history!!!

Play Dirty
One my more favorite Sandra Brown books. There are so many times in the book that I just shocked and disgusted that anyone would even think to do this. It's an easy read with some good twists and a few moments of predictability. There is the thug causing harm to the main character and people close to him, lots of money, murder, plenty of sex, and a struggle to love and be loved.
A Whole New Light by Sandra Brown
When her late husband's business partner, Worth Lansing-- never anything more than a friend--asks her to spend a weekend with him in Acapulco, Cyn McCall must choose between a life spent in mourning and a new beginning.
I really like Sandra Brown but sometimes I feel like her female characters are so whiny. Cyn would be one of those! The storyline was good though.
