The Dream Thief
One of the hazards of being a writer is that it’s not often I read purely for pleasure. Usually, I’m disecting the story as I go, ticking off plot points, digesting ways of handling backstory and POV. It’s rare for a book to be so engaging that I forget I’m a writer and slip back into the joy of just letting a well-told tale wash over me.
