Susan Meier
Book 152. The Magic of a Family Christmas BY Susan Meier (Harlequin Romance # 4132 Nov09)
I enjoyed this holiday book...Harry's mother died and neighbor - Wendy gets custody of Harry. While working for rich boss - Cullen Barrington, electricity goes out, and Cullen must go home with Wendy and Harry for the night. We all know whre this leads right.....
Maid in Montana
My Opinion: An interesting story but it didn’t grab me. Both Jeb and Sophie have baggage that need to be solved before they can have a successful relationship with anyone. They both have to deal with the way they were raised plus some other issues.
Series: In Her Shoes
The Magic of a Family Christmas
I enjoyed the story. It was well written and quite story. It embodies what the Christmas spirit brings into our lives.
The Magic of a Family Christmas by Susan Meier, HR Nov09 #4132
This is such a ‘feel good’ story. Meier deftly kept a subject that could turn to maudlin or a real downer uplifting. This is a sweet without being saccharine story.
Wendy Winston is a woman with too much to do and she is landed with a new boss, albeit temporary, and a foster son. Cullen Barrington has left his comfort zone and landed in the family zone. How will he cope?
More than a Maid
Sophie Penazzi and her six month old son, Brady, have taken a housekeeping job for Jeb Worthington. He wants to get rid of her because she has child, something she won't let him do. As she comes to know Jeb a little better, she finds herself wanting to be more than his housekeeper, but his walls are too high to overcome, or are they?
#37. Maid in Montana by Susan Meier
You might wonder how a book could appear to be silly and sparky at the same time, but Susan Meier did it. I laughed out loud at Jeb’s reaction to Brady, and at the way Sophie stood up to him. I and loved the way the sparks flew between Jeb and Sophie at every opportunity.
Maid in Montana - Susan Meier
Hmmmm, interesting, not great, but interesting. Poor Jeb has some very serious children issues and he so does not deserve them. Sophie is a very interesting character who really only wants to take care of her son no matter what. I was glad to see how they could make it work together. I really liked Slim lots too and Macayla is another interesting character thrown in to the mix.
Maid in Manhattan
Single mom accepts a live-in housekeeping position; however, when she shows up at his door he realizes that she comes with a baby in tow. He doesn't want her to stay...he gives her three weeks, yet when his foreman has to leave on emergency she is allowed to stay longer.
