An Unlikely Mommy by Tanya Michaels (American Romance #1203)
I loved Tanya Michaels' Trouble in Tennessee, so of course I had to get my hands on the follow-up, An Unlikely Mommy.
The story: Ronnie Carter is a mechanic and doesn't see herself as mommy material, but then she falls for Jason McDeere, a father to a little girl.
An Unlikely Mommy
As Joyous, Tennessee's only female mechanic, Ronnie Carter is more used to fixing carburetors than dressing for a date. So when Jason McDeere asks her out, she's thrown into a panic! Not only is the handsome high school teacher Ronnie's secret crush, he's the single father of an adorable toddler…who wants a mommy.
An Unlikely Mommy
Great book! I sat down to read "just a few chapters" and found myself closing the book, finished, a few hours later. The relationship between Ronnie, Jason, and Emily was very believeable. Found myself laughing out loud many times!
An Unlikely Mommy
I chose this book because in the description the woman was described as a former tomboy and a mechanic. I was formerly a tomboy so this description appealed to me. It was a good book and a gentle love story, I really liked it.
Unlikely Mommy by Tanya Michaels (HAR 03 ’08)
Ronnie has had a crush on Jason since he moved to the area, but with three over-protective brothers and an unconventional job, she has never gotten up the nerve to approach him. Jason moved back to Joyous after his wife abandoned him and their infant daughter. He isn’t looking to replace her. When Ronnie finally gets up the nerve to approach him, can the two make a go of the relationship or will the past or their baggage from the past stop this relationship cold.
An Unlikely Mommy
I love a book that has quirky characters and laughter. This is another story that had me laughing early in the read and all the way through the story. I wondered about Ronnie in, Trouble in Tennessee, it’s nice to see that she gets a chance at love. Okay, now it’s Lola Ann’s turn. NFM
The Perfect Tree
Anthology-
"Noelle and the Wise Man" ties up loose ends well and for a novella that is important to me;
An Unlikely Mommy by Tanya Michaels
This book is a sequel to "Trouble in Tennessee" (American #1170). Ronnie Carter grew up in a family of three overbearing brothers and her father. She is the only female mechanic in Joyous, Tennessee. Since she lost her mother when she was very young she never learned to cook, doesn't own a dress and doesn't want to be a mother -- ever!
Trouble in Tennessee by Tanya Michaels (American Romance #1170)
Wow, did I miss out by not reading Tanya Michaels’ books. If they are all as wonderful as Trouble in Tennessee I will have found another auto-buy author.
