This was an enjoyable book, mostly due to the spirit, fiery red-headed heroine.  I appreciate all the family and self-worth issues that Scarlett had to go through before she felt accepted by a small Texas town and the love of her life!  Very good read.

Scarlett, a hairstylist from Atlanta, Georgia, takes off to make her dreams come true in California.  Eager to be her "life" and to make a name for herself she travels in a clunker cross-country.
