Audiobook

I've enjoyed Hillerman's other books about these characters and this one was no exception. NFM

I've been wanting to read this for a long time and just didn't get to it then Kelley was kind enough to loan me her audio so I finally got to it. It was very complex, different,  and good. Chicago Stars quarterack Dean Robillard is driving cross-country to think about his life when he sees Blue Bailey stomping down a Colorado road dressed in a beaver suit minus the head. She ends up going with him to his Tennesse farm where they fall in love and discover their family: his mother, father, half-sister and an old lady who owns the town. A lovely read with plenty of humor and affection as the characters learn to forgive each other for years of hurt and become each other's family. Recommended. Another Nero Wolfe complete and unabridged audiobook. This was my favorite of the 3 audio books. Really liked the lawyer, the mom, the mixed clients and the girl too! Fun mystery with some interesting secondary characters.

Another Nero Wolfe complete and unabridged audiobook. The Father Hunt was a little confoluted even for a Wolfe mystery, but great in the end. Amy Denovo was an interesting character. Didn't like her "dad" though and her grandfather left a bit to be desired too!

A Nero Wolfe complete and unabridged audiobook. Road trip with my husband to Tucson and we listened to one going and one coming and I listened to the third while cleaning house. It sure makes the cleaning more enjoyable! We have enjoyed other Nero Wolfe mysteries and were not disappointed with this one. Crazy mixed up Jarrell family and I was glad the "snake" got her due in the end.

Four children's books combined to equal one full-length book for the auto-counter. All enjoyable reads with basic lessons. Okay for as young as age 4 (maybe even 3) but enjoyable to age 10 or so. Dinosaurs Before Dark; The Knight at Dawn; Mummies in the Morning; Pirates Past Noon. Read by the author, available from Random House and Listening Library. NFM

Loved this book and moving on to the next one now!

The book seems a bit procedural when is comes to the sailing, but the characters being developed seem deep and full of future story potential. 

I hear there is a long distance love triangle in later books of the Aubrey/Maturin series, but not in the first title.

Two Words....A Classic. This is my favorite of all the Austen novels. Elizabeth Bennett is so imperfect as is Mr. Darcy. I love the fact that these two imperfect people find
happiness together. Like I said, my favorite.
