Harlequin
NEW Reading Challenge ~ Harlequin's 60 Connections!
With Spring fully upon us, and Summer just around the corner, I thought this might be a great time to branch out a bit. This Reading Challenge is a take off on our very popular One Word or One Name Leads to Another mini-challenge. I have a few new twists that I think you'll like.
An Angel in Provence
This actually contains two books: "An Angel in Provence" and "What Happens in Paris (Stays in Paris?)." I'm going to review each separately.
An Angel in Provence:
Lucky Break
In the last of the trilogy, Jason Corwin falls for Lauren Perkins, the very person whose ancestor placed a curse on all Corwin males. He was absolutely convinced that he would never, ever fall in love; he wasn't going to tempt the curse. However, Lauren hired him to fix up her late grandmother's house so she could sell it and move on.
The Edge of Winter
I do love Betty Neels. Just a few left for Harlequin to re-publish and I'll have them all. Nice, tender romances that I love to re-read.
From the back cover:
Safe Haven
Ex-CIA operative Grey Sellers had settled into a quiet, anonymous life. No secrets, no bullets, no nightmares...just the way he wanted it. Until he was hired to protect reluctant heiress Valerie Beaufort from a killer. He'd sworn not to get emotionally attached to the assignment - but Valerie was so much more than that...
Mediterranean Nights
Serena d'Andrea doesn't beleive everythng she sees. As the only heir of an affluent Argentinian publishing family, she's been findig it increasingly difficult to trust that the men she meets can see past her wealth.
Henrietta's Own Castle
An Innocent Bride
As usual with Betty Neels - a good story.
Blown Away
I was disappointed in this book - the write up sounded good but....it wasn't!
