Fire and Rain & Outlaw by Elizabeth Lowell (2 books in one)
These were pretty good stories. I don't remember having read anything by Elizabeth Lowell before. I got this book with my bonus bucks and included in the package was another 2 story book that is a continuation on the same ranch and includes some interaction with the other characters. I love that. Anyway, very good series.

Under Her Skin - Lone Sister Adventures
Susan Mallery is not an author I'm familiar with, nor is this a book I would have purchased. I received this book free for ordering other books. Not sure how long I even have had it was in my "books not read stack" However, I can't wait to read the other stories about the Titan Sisters. This story held my interest from beginning to end and I finished reading it in two (2) days.

A shorter historical with a lot of punch.
This book starts out with Rafael Daughtry escorting Napoleon to Elba. While there he learns that an accident has taken his Uncle and cousins and now he holds the title of Duke. He has no idea how to do the job and is sure he will fail his family.

Reckless- Great Victorian Historical
I loved this book! Reckless was printed in 2005, so it's not one of her newest works, but I love the whole historical feel to the book. The hero is so ALPHA and the heroine is just right for him. Now I want to go back and read the series.

Hi Everyone
I've been down in the trenches of writing, working on edit/line edit and galley proofs. Problem with writing six books in one year is the massive turn-around it takes on each manuscript after sending it in to my editor. I'm working on my HQN for 2010, ANGEL'S SONG (working title) and aiming to get all the edits and revisions done shortly.

Accidently Yours - "the power of love versus the power of money"
Susan Mallery really knows how to weave a good story. A single mom looking for a billionaire to fund research for a cure for her dying son and a billionaire looking for someone to improve his PR in the community. Good fast read!

#410 - Edge of Desire - Rhyannon Byrd - Primal Instincts - Book 3 - HQN Paranormal - June/09
Personal Opinion - I'm glad I waited and read these three books together as then I didn't have to wait for the continuation of the story about the Buchanan family and their paranormal creatures. This whole series was exciting and interesting to read as the reader discovered two more paranormal creatures who inhabit the world along with us normal people.
