The Ugly Duckling would be the one rated Very Good with a Heat Wave steaminess rating. That was my favourite story with the most distinctive moral.

This book lays the foundation for the following 4 books which begin from many many years after the ending of this book. It explains the history behind the 4 couples. It is not a happily ever after book. It is saddening and full of trauma although there are moments of happiness for the couples, the ending doesn't portray this until the following books are read.

Amazing, I laughed, cried and got a little turned on. There was a lot of heat and not just between the leading lady and bad boy either. Lots of sub-stories: crazy sisters, drunken dad, crazy mother-in-law. I wanted a happy ending what I got was deeper. All in all good read. Book three (3 is a good number)

I am going to keep my review of this book brief, simply because I really don't know what to think about it.  I know that not every book is meant to end happy, or that everything is rosy, simply because that is the way life is.  I just don't know what to think about the three-way relationship going on in this book.
