  I definitely recommend this book. Catherine Palmer captures the characters' emotions in a way that is not only credible but touching. I felt for Mara and found myself wondering what I would do if I were in her situation, widowed with a baby.

NEW TO ME

James Graham had been doing missionary work in Africa for six years. He was an architect and carpenter and was building clinics for children all over Africa. Now he had been bitten by an insect (as far as the doctors could determine) and had been left with severe pain in his joints sometimes making it impossible for him to hold tools and extremely painful to move around. He was forced to leave Africa to return home to heal. He was expecting to be back in Africa in 15 weeks. That wasn't going to happen.

Wow! This was an excellent book! Dee Henderson is a master at showing conflicting emotions. She gets right into the soul of her characters and brings them to life as if you were watching a movie instead of reading a book.  This is the 1st novel I've read of Dee's but you can be sure it won't be my last! This book is going straight to my Top 10 list!

It's a wonderful story about 2 people falling in love despite the odds. One has everything to give; the other can't seem to give up anything. Is the sacrifice worth it? What would you give up for eternal happiness?
