Steeple Hill Love Inspired
Every Kind of Heaven by Jillian Hart ~ LI ~ 3/07
This is the seventh book of the McKaslin Clan series but it is the first one in the series that I have read. And although it is a part of the series it very much a stand alone story.
Ava McKaslin was a baker by trade and owned a bakery but she needed some renovations to the place. So she hired Brice Donovan as the contractor. Ava had has such bad luck with men and romance that she was determined that even though she like Brice very much she was not going to fall in love with him~we all know about best laid plans and how they don't work out all the time~but he was falling in love with her. Brice always seemed to be coming to Ava's rescue when one thing or the other went wrong~like her locking her keys in the car frequently.
Blurb~~"Though she wanted a family of her own, love seemed so unreliable to busy bakery owner Ava McKaslin. Baking and honoring her faith were all she had on her life's to-do list. Until she hired Brice Donovan as her contractor. And her best-laid plans flew out the window!
He'd long adored Ava from afar. Now that she needed his help, Brice wanted to show her how joyful life could be when there was love. He--and he hoped, the Lord--had big plans to give this special woman all the happiness she deserved."
November News
November shines the Spotlight on Love Inspired, and we're doing it up in style. Here are a few things you can look forward to this month.
First, if you haven't started reading yet, we have a great online read by Margaret Daley, called Shattered Trust. A bit of trivia for you- this is Margaret's FIRST online read for us. Those of you who've been on the boards a while know that Margaret is one of our longtime members and we just adore her. So please stop by, lend your support, and let her know just how much we appreciate her.
Second, starting November 9th, and going through November 24th, we're having a Thanksgiving Blessings and Traditions discussion. Because the heart of Love Inspired books is all about faith and family, we're sharing this special holiday with our online family. We hope you'll join us and share your traditions as well. And who knows, maybe you'll find a special new tradition of your own to incorporate into your celebrations.

Close to home...close to Dodie and Jace
Hi
I just finished Close to home.
Theses characters reflect the non likable reality of some women who should face difficult situations like sexual abuse.
I was amazed by the simplicity of this story and it helped me to open my eyes around and learn to read people in pain like Dodie, this way I can help to bring support and Jesus can use me to do so.

1. Lisa Morgan, tell me the most interesting thing about you.
The only reason I’m writing this interview right now is because the Lord saved me from self-destruction. I nearly lost everything, but now I have my life on track.
