Steeple Hill Love Inspired Historical
The Briton by Catherine Palmer (LIH)
This book was the first in the LIH line and it set the standard very high. I had never read this author before and I was impressed with The Briton. It is one of the best books I have read so far this year.
FRONTIER COURTSHIP
Valerie makes a significant contribution to this wonderful new line. Western Historicals have always been my favorite kind of historical and FRONTIER COURTSHIP is a moving as any I've read. Add a wagon trail journey across the plains and I'm hooked.

The Bounty Hunter's Bride
Victoria Bylin write male characters who are believable. In The Bounty Hunter's Bride, a warm and touching historical romance, I thought I could smell the stink coming off hero Beau Morgan when he came off the range into town badly in need of a bath.
Homespun Bride
LIH Homespun Bride by Jillian Hart (Feb 08)
Noelle had been blinded by a tragic accident years before. Now she is in the midst of another one, is the stranger that helps her love from long ago - Thad Macaslin?? Thad had once loved Noelle can they find a way to get past the hurt and rekindle their love?
A frontier Courtship
Once again a great read. I have always loved the pioneer era and books about travel in covered wagons. Frontier Courtship is all this and way more. Faith is a great character she is loyal, committed and strong. She is all that her sister isn't. I really loved the direction this book went. There are alot of twists and turns which really added to the book.
The Road to Love (Depression Series #1) (Steeple Hill Love Inspired Historical #7) by Linda Ford
This is the kind of book that pulls on your heart. Oh my--hard times, guilt, inner strength, forgiveness, love. This was my first Linda Ford read and now I am looking forward to reading many more. Enjoy!
The Briton (Steeple Hill Love Inspired Historical #1) by Catherine Palmer
Get ready to be transported to 12th Century remote Briton and meet Browden as she leaves her home and finds her world turned upside-down. It was easy to become lost in this book.
Hearts in the Highland by Ruth Axtell Morren, Steeple Hill, Love Inspired Historical
Hideaway Home
Hideaway Home plunks the reader down smack in the middle of World War II America where Bertie (Roberta) Moenning, our heroine, is being trained as a machinist in the Hughes aircraft factory in California that's putting out military equipment for the war effort.
Legacy of Secrets by Sara Mitchell (Steeple Hill April 2008)
Amid the splendors and miseries of the Gilded Age Neala Shaw suddenly found herself entirely alone. The innocent yount heiress-penniless now-had no choice but to face her family's fatal legacy of secrets and lies.
