An entertaining tale set in Missouri, my current home. Enjoyed the discriptions of geography, quilts,and busy family life. Especilly liked the handling of the teenage girls.

Enjoyed the style of writing and will be looking for more books by this author.

I found the book to be interesting but I found it hard to connect with the main character.  Theda is the main character but I found it hard to like her because she lacked common sense.  I thought news reporters had more sense than that.  It was fun trying to solve the mystery and it even had a twist at the end.  If you want to read a short story and solve a quick mystery this might be the book

This was a pretty good book I borrowed it from my mother in law and I told her that she had to read it too. I liked the whole mystery of what happened and the finding out what really happened after you think that it is working out the way you figured it out in your head.
