One of the first things I heard on this audio was a disclaimer that times have changed and what was acceptable in 1982 may not be acceptable now. That made me curious. Listening to Joyce Bean tell the story, I could see why the disclaimer was there. We were definitely dealing with an alpha male (not one of my fav heros) among other things.

Joy Simms's cousin Casey wins a all expenses paid vacation in London and a dinner date with an actor, but given that Casey is a guy who entered the contest through a women's magazine, he convinces Joy that she should pretend to be him and go in his place

My Thoughts: Since I read Maybe, Baby first (book 3)--and really enjoyed it--I decided to hunt down the first 2 books. This one is Ellie and Fitz's story and probably my least favorite of the series but it was still a good read.
