My reaction to this story is mixed. I definitely enjoyed the storyline of two people who've known each other from childhood, falling in love. And there are some really great moments of dialogue, narration etc., which make it enjoyable. With some very entertaining sub-characters, like two conniving old women, the story offers a few chuckles and is very believable.
