The sepia tones of the cover, and the moody scene of a couple in period dress walking on a beach with a biplane overhead, were the first things to catch my attention. Then I saw that it was a 20th Century Harlequin Historical—I hadn't heard of this new, or new-ish, line and was very happy to see it.

After several years of devoting herself to her boss, who thinks she’s nothing more than the world’s most efficient secretary, Jenna Campbell decides to quit her job and fly to Alaska to meet the man with whom she’s been chatting online.  Seated next to her on the plane, Reid Jamison seems the antithesis of the man she’s going to meet, Dalton Gray.  Dalton seems to be the man of her dreams: poetic, romantic, sensitive.  Reid is anything but!  However, when Dalton doesn’t show up to meet her plane, Reid offers to fly her to her destination.  Once he finds out that she’s on her way to meet Dalton Gray, Reid kidnaps her and stops at his hometown, Snowbound, instead.  And that’s just the beginning!
