anime

Good weekend... just not for reading and reviewing ~ .^

I actually forgot that this (past) weekend was the Animethon weekend here in Edmonton.  For those not into anime (Japanese animation), those who are rabid (or not) fan-girls / boys (aka otaku), anime conventions have become pretty big business world-wide and North America is no stranger to the phenomenon.  Think Star Trek conventions... pretty much the same premise, but dealing with anime.
Anyway, to get back to the point of this blog, this past weekend was the fifteenth Animethon (anime convention) here in Edmonton.  I, of course attended ~ not that I consider myself a fan-girl... more just a fan of the genre ~ and I've been involved with Animethon first as a small-time vendor / convention attendee to a full-time attendee (and shopper).
