Well, it truly took me forever to get into this book.  I just couldn't, but I made myself finish it.  It takes place in flooded Murrawarra (Australia) and Harry Graham comes to save the day with his army while Kirsten McPherson is the local doctor on hand who has to evacuate the hospital and put the patients in an old convent.

My Review:

Mmmm, yummy!  This book was such an enjoyable read, it just made me feel good!  I was grinning and laughing my way through it.  The banter between the hero/heroine was such delicious, the sexual tension was built up very well.  The heroine's self-defense mechanism of sarcasm and barbs was just charming and made her equal to the challenge of taming her bossy hero who was used to commanding his own way. 

This is the sequel to EVEN NOW.  Shane Galanter and Lauren Gibbs Anderson are brought together by their daughter Emily, now grown and in college.  Although they still love each other, they have grown apart in everything they believe.  As they struggle to see if their love can survive the changes in their lives, Emily falls in love with young Lieutenant Justin Baker.  His life will change them all...
