Fantastic Book!!! Fans of Marjorie M. Liu's Dirk and Steele series will love Stephanie Doyle's Untouchable. Action, Sex, a great hero - a fantastic villian. What's not to love love love about this book?

Fourth in the second Athena Force series. Edited from the back: Lynn White has a new life, close to Athena Academy and her past. When authorities blackmail her to use her unique skills one last time, Lynn returns to the stealth game. Her assignment: stop terrorists from smuggling a bomb through Miami's Stingray Wharf. Her contact is FBI Agent Nick Barnes, the man Lynn loved and left. My take: a good enough read to move the plot along but could have stood on its own had various other characters from the series not been mentioned or had cameos. NFM

SYNOPSIS:  Lucy Karmon has taken her skills from the Athena Academy and formed a mercenary team.  Her specialty: explosives.  Delphi wants her assistance in the fight against the deadly Athena Academy foe, Arachne, and Lucy is more than willing.  Her mission leads her to Africa and the empire of Miranda N'Buta.  Miranda has a new security chief, Nolan Taylor.  Will Nolan prove to be friend or foe in this mission?

SYNOPSIS:  Nikki Bustillo has a mission for Oracle, a mission that is important in the Athena Academy's fight against their deadly enemy, Arachne.  She is sent to Hong Kong, only to find her contact murdered.  Can she trust Johnny Zhao in her quest to find the mysterious Diviner?  What will this mission cost them all?

SYNOPSIS:  Delphi has a task for Francesca Thorne.  As a graduate of the Athena Academy and one of Oracle's agents, Chesca has a new mission:  to profile Arachne and confirm the information provided by Salvatore Giambi (see STACKED DECK for more details).  But will this put Chesca in danger?  Will Evans is assigned to be her bodyguard.  What  secrets will be uncovered as they investigate the murky past of Arachne?

Third book in the second Athena Force continuity. Tory Patton's mentee & fellow Athena grad has been kidnapped in Berzhaan along with her cameraman & translator. Tory's lover, Ben Forsythe, is in country to rescue some Marines; once that is done his team moves on to rescue the reporter et al. He & Tory run into each other & help each other as much as possible given the constraints of their (mostly Ben's) jobs. Lots of internal & external conflict as both work hard toward their career and relationship goals & figuring out how to accomplish them all. Oh, and Tory's pregnant. Some threads left dangling, presumably to be picked up in the next book(s). NFM

Back cover:  She knows how to get the job done.  Lucy Karmon always does the right thing, even if her methods are sometimes questionable.  So when the mercenary is offered a chance to dole out her own brand of justice against Athena Academy's darkest enemy, she takes it.

This is my first book by Ms. Moore and I really enjoyed it.  In this AF installment, Nicki goes to Hong Kong to try and find a computer hacker that has escaped.  Once there she hooks up with a HK cop and the two try to find some answers.
