Avon Historical Romances

This is one of the best historical books that I have ever read. It has intrigue and a man wooing a woman,who is dead set against marriage. This book also has wonderful secondary characters. I will not be parted from this book it will be forever in my library.

Sara Willis, step sister of an English Earl, has been a reformer all her life. She gets it in her head to go aboard the prison ship, Chastity, that is taking convict women to a colony in New South Wales in order to record the injustices that are brought upon the women. She plans to haul her evidence back to England and present it to Parliament.

I love the book. Christian in a typical male reaction made assumptions about the former love of his life, without knowing the facts. He had to beg her forgiveness among murde and intrigus. Ms. Laurens good work. I can hardly wait for the final novel in this series.
