Dawn's Awakening by Lora Leigh (Berkley Sensation, 2008)

challenge_name:

A novel of the Feline Breeds. I looked on Amazon, and there appear to be other Breeds books out there by this author, but with slightly different series names (e.g. Coyote Breeds).

Please be aware that this series deals with difficult issues, like kidnapping, physical and psychological torture, and rape.

Tanner's Scheme by Lora Leigh (Berkley Sensation, 2007)

From the cover:
“A one-time high-ranking member of the Genetics Council, Scheme Tallant’s father will stop at nothing to see the Feline Breeds eradicated. Even if it means killing his own daughter…

This is the best book that I've read so far this year!!!!

Book Blurb

Lora Leigh ~ Harmony's Way. I'm not counting this in my book totals, still I had to review this awesome book!!

I just re-read this book, but as it’s within a year since I last read it, I’m not counting it as a book read.  But I do think it’s worth a review, so I’m posting it here in my blog.  Just so’s you know.  *grin*
Originally when I read this book, it was the first time I’d read any of Lora Leigh’s Breed stories.  Now having read her Ellora’s Cave stories as well as the other Berkley Sensation books, so much of what happens makes a LOT more sense.  So while I originally said the book stands alone, it is MUCH better if at least Megan’s Mark is digested first.   Better yet if it’s read within the context of, and in its place in, the series.

RATING:
Excellent ~ 4 stars

Rough and Ready by Sandra Hill (Thomson Gale/Berkley, 2006)

challenge_name:

Loosely part of Sandra Hill’s Viking series. Funny and warm, but a very light read (light, but satisfying). Hill’s characters are always engaging, and the romance sizzles.

My rating: 3/5
