Everyone in my readers' group loved this book. This is the first inspirational that I've read and absolutely worth picking up. Essie Spreckelmeyer is just a fun-loving bloomer wearing heroine. All the characters in the book had substance. Essie and Tony each have their own secrets to be revealed and other hardships to overcome before they can commit to each other.

Sophia Hess has lived to be 80 and now has found a place to settle for her last days.  She isn’t expecting happiness, as she has known so little of it in her life.  She carefully selected a relative’s home to reside in after petitioning and then visiting several relatives; her nephew, Patrick, and his wife, Rachel, offered the best prospects.
