What do you like to do when you finish a book? Do you like to blog it immediately? Do you prefer to think about it? Do you like talking to other people about a book before you blog it or review it?
One of the nice things about circulating in blog-o-sphere is discovering new-to-me talent. This morning I had an email from an artist who has been reading my blog. He mentioned that I might enjoy his most recent post. I certainly did. I also got a kick out of the previous one (for reasons you'll see.)
A few months ago, someone invited me to join Facebook. I didn't. Soon after came an invitation to join Shefari. I'm embarrassed to say (because, hey now, that scene is ALL about books!) I didn't sign on there either. I already manage my own website, an official blog at blogspot, and 'my place' at MySpace. I'd need a clone to join one more cyber socal hang out.
The net.
Need I say more?
Definitely a time managing issue! I love the net. I hate the net. Its
something that you HAVE to control. There are a hundred and one sub
categories to this issue:
There are so many ways now to keep track of discussions or follow member content ... here are a few that I've discovered .....
As an eHarlequin.com member, you get your own publishing space to tell the community what makes you ... you. Your personal profile lets you share all your favorite discussions, the blogs you read, your interests, favorite online buddies and so much more. Build the page you want the world to see.
I see that e-harlequin has created a blog space for its users. The vast majoirty of my blogs can be found at http://www.michellestyles.blogspot.com/
And I generally blog there once a day.
I am trying to figure out what I shall use this blog for. Best of? Writing techniques? News about my books? Book reviews?
If you’re new to this community…welcome! Likely the only thing NEW you see is this blog post. But, if you’ve been with us for a while, welcome to the “new look” of the eHarlequin.com Community, now with added social networking tools and other fun features like buddy lists and profile pages!
