Case File: Canyon Creek, Wyoming receives 4 stars from RT Book Reviews
My January 2010 book from Harlequin Intrigue, CASE FILE: CANYON CREEK, WYOMING, got a great four star review from Romantic Times Book Reviews. I loved reviewer Pat Cooper's final summary: "A battered, nearly broken man, a feisty, self-reliant woman and a sickly evil marauder are only three of the great elements of this terrifyingly intense tale."

A deserving RITA winner
I've just finished the 2009 short contemporary RITA award winning book by Ms. Templeton, and one phrase pops into my mind - well-deserved. This book is a keeper and a sharer. It is chock full of wonderful prose, impressiving author voice, enjoyable characters, and who can resist a brooding Irishman?
Blogging/Reviewing
I was really trying to keep up with the books I've been reading. I wanted a consistent format that gave all the deets (title, authors, dates, publishers, blurbs, covers, pages, notes as applicable, and a comment or two), but it just isn't working. I haven't even finished with May's books, let alone done any of June's!
RITA Book #2
Finished my second book for the RITAs last night. Here's my anonymous non-review to add to the tally count. ;)

RITA Book #1
Okay, I just finished reading my first RITA book. I'm so thrilled that you came up with a way to let us count these books we're reading and judging without revealing our scores and opinions. Because while I'm reading all these, I sure won't be able to get anything else read and keep up with my deadline work. So I'm pleased to see my efforts will still count toward the total.
Introducing our NEW ratings system
You may have already noticed that over the course of the weekend we tinkered and tweaked our book review input page in order to simplify the process of adding and cataloguing your thoughts on the books you read in your eHarlequin.com blogs. We've addressed many of the formatting issues members were having to standardize the reviews for ease of reading and sorting. We implemented a book cover input field so that all the book cover images will be the same size and in the same location without blowing up the margins on the boards
. We even added a title field so that you can add some pizazz to your reviews and we installed a ratings system to help guide your book collecting.
Bayou Justice
Robin's debut novel is a fast-paced romantic suspense with a solid, unique plot that kept me tense from the first page to the last. Robin writes with a fresh, active style with strong verbs and vivid word imagery.

What I Did on My Summer Vacation… - Harlequin Blaze, July 2008
This was the first book I've read in the Blaze imprint and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The stories were short and sweet, which certainly wasn't a bad thing!
An Excellent Wife?
Charlotte Lamb has a writing voice like no other. What I would give to have an inkling of her talent. I love her books regardless of the heat level; her writing speaks for itself. When I find one of her books on the shelf I snap it up. She is one author that I sorely miss.
