November's stats and books read

So with 35 'books' read this month (actually, counting individual stories there were 43 in total), I read, on average, just over a book a day.  And right now?  For the year, I'm at 349 books

Another month gone by and another, longer, book list.... Helps to have 2 weeks of holidays!

First some stats.... just 'cause I like 'em:  .  Tongue out
For July I achieved the following (and yes, I guess I am bragging a bit.... Embarassed)

Harlequin Imprints

  • MIRA ~ 3
  • HQN ~ 3
  • Red Dress Ink ~ 1
  • Superromance ~ 4
  • Intimate Moments ~ 1
  • Special Edition ~ 3
  • Desire ~ 4
  • Intrigue ~ 2

Series updated / completed:   17 (wahoo! ... three of the books that I read weren't connected to any series ~ one in error and two just 'cause I love the author!)

Books read this month36 (21 h/s & 15 o)

Well now... half of 2008 is now gone... what the HECK?

Well, well, well... here it is, July 1st (Happy Birthday Canada!) and it's been a real ride, but....
Holy cats... just where the heck did half a year go?  Surprised

In June I did not too badly... 25 books (that count to my totals... I actually read at least one book that wasn't countable, but... I needed it!)  My eHarlequin totals are still in good shape:  15 (of 25) for June and 123 (of 185) for the YTD.

Month-end tie-up... stats and faves

Now that I've caught up on my February reviews I can finalize the month, my statistics and other odds-and-ends... 'cause that's what I like to do!  Laughing

  • Books read in February:  33 ~ 27 h/s & 6 o
  • Books from my TBR:  17 of 33 (just over 50%)
  • Books read towards challenge:  27

Of the 33 books that I read, I rated one book at 5 stars
Janice Kay Johnson ~ With Child

 three at 4.5 stars:
Christine Rimmer ~ The Bravo Billionaire
Christine Rimmer ~ Fifty Ways to Say I'm Pregnant
Maureen Child ~ Prince Charming in Dress Blues

Books read in January: 34

This was, for me, a great start to the year and this reading challenge.  In the list below, the four entries that are in bold were rated at 4.5 stars and the one entry that is bold, italic & underlined was a 5 star read.
Of the 34 books that I read, 25 were towards the H/S numbers and, then towards my personal challenges, 13 (or 38%) were from my TBR, which are books that I've had for at least 3 months, very likely closer to five or six.
So, really a GREAT start for 2008.
