61. Christine Rimmer ~ Valentine's Secret Child ~ SSE #1879 Feb 08 [Bravo Family Ties]

challenge_name:

Until I find some of the older Bravo Family Ties books, or the next new one in the line-up is released, I'll be putting the Bravos aside for awile.  But oh, I do love Rimmer's Bravos!  I'm especially looking forward to Tanner's, Kelly and Hayley's big brother ~ story (could it be Crystal in his future?) and Bowie... will he and Glory, at long last, make a family for their son.  I'm very curious to see how Bowie does his growing up!
I've loved the time spent reading these stories and will be impatiently awaiting meeting up with them again.

RATING:
Excellence: Great to Very Good ~ 3 stars
Steaminess: Sensual

56. Christine Rimmer ~ Marrying Molly ~ SSE #1639 (Oct04)

challenge_name:

I read the book that comes directly after this one first ~ of course! ~ and I loved it.  In Tucker's and Lori's story, I enjoyed Tate and Molly so I was more than a little disappointed when I actually found this story very difficult to make my way through.  Why exactly did I find myself almost slogging page after page?  Check out below in MY NOTES if you're interested.

RATING:
Okay (kinda) ~ 1.5 stars {would not keep this book if it were not part of the Bravo series}
Sensual

49. Christine Rimmer ~ Marriage by Necessity [Bravo Family Ties] reprint

challenge_name:

The further I get into this series the more I'm amazed at how different each character is, and how the characters determine the story.  They've all taken on a life of their own and I am enjoying getting to know the Bravos immensely!
And as Katherine said this is definitely a BISHRS!
When originally released, Marriage by Necessity was SSE #1161, 1998.

One minor note:  on the back of the book in the reason for Nate's marrying Megan, it says Megan's *grandfather's* will... but it was her *father's* will.
Just a minor point, but one that kinda sticks with me ya know?

RATING:
Excellent ~ 4 stars

Valentine’s Secret Child by Christine Rimmer (SSE 02 ’08)

challenge_name:

I am a big CR fan, but this book just didn’t do it for me.  Kelly and Michael were childhood sweethearts, who broke up when Michael asked Kelly to choose him over her family.
