55. Christine Rimmer ~ Fifty Ways to Say I'm Pregnant ~ SSE #1615 (Jun04)
I had actually started to read this book before I figured that I should check my Bravo books that I had with their place in the series. That's when I realized that I had a number of books that came first ~ and far be it for me to not start as close to the beginning as I can... well, when I've got the books anyways! This is Starr's story and both Starr and Beau played fairly big parts in Zach's story... the third of the three original stories. Glad to finally get to it!
In the slot for 'book read' I put that this is either the 14th or 15th book in the series. The reason that I'm not sure of which it is is because the story after The Bravo Billionaire, was an eHarlequin online read; of which I can, alas, find no trace.
So that leaves me either counting it as the ninth or disregarding it entirely. Ah well... maybe if I make enough noise, someone'll take pity on me? *grin*
RATING:
Excellent to Outstanding ~ 4.5 stars

53. Christine Rimmer ~ The Marriage Agreement SSE #1412 [Bravo Family Ties] 2001
Another winner in the Bravo Family Ties series. Even though I am reading these books one after the other because of the One Thing Leads to Another challenge, I would be reading these books just because, for now anyways, I just can't get enough... and with this story I'm up to seven in the series ~ with another seven to go... that of course doesn't count that books that are not presently in my collection. They will be of course, but I'm patient... kind of.
RATING:
Excellent ~ 4 stars {yet another of Ms. Rimmer's heartwarming tales of love}

51. Christine Rimmer ~ The Millionaire She Married [Bravo Brides ~ Signature Select] reprint

I am really enjoying the continuity of the series... well, D'uh... it's a series, of course there's continuity! But the connections never overwhelm the stories; they very nicely complement them.
One of the really nice facets to the two stories reprinted in this Signature Select edition is the extras that are included at the end of the book:
-
A Day in the life of Christine Rimmer (I chuckled my way through it)
-
Backstory: Mr. & Mrs. Mack McGarrity (excellent insights!)
-
The Bravo Family Tree
-
The Bravos: Heroes, Heroines and their stories (I love this kind of thing)
-
Sneak Peek: BRAVO UNWRAPPED by Christine Rimmer
I also like that these two stories that are combined are very strongly related in that the h's are sisters and the fiancé of one ends up being the H to the other. Sweet!
50. Christine Rimmer ~ Practically Married [Bravo Family Ties] reprint
When I first started this 3-in-1 reprint of the original Bravo stories, I thought that I'd read it, it'd be okay and I'd move on. Huh ... "Best laid plans of mice and men..." and all that; seems to be another of my mottos to live ~ or read ~ by.
It's turned out that I've found me another new-to-me (and yeah if that's a challenge again this year, I'm already up two or three... or more!) and favourite author. And yes, I do have a LOT of those... but I'm not easy; really I'm not... it just seems as though I am!
Anyway, back to the book in question: Practically Married was originally SSE #1174, 1998.
RATING:
Excellent ~ 4 stars { the stories just keep getting better and better!}
