Dawn Daniels is a breed still trying to heal after years of torture she experienced in the lab where she was created.      Well, I finally finished it!  Dawn's Awakening was an outstanding story ~ but then I expected no less.  It's another excellent chapter in Lora Leigh's Breed series.  And there was a lot more interaction between the various Breeds ~ Feline and Wolf.  I'm very much enjoying watching the various Breeds work together for the benefit of all... and I can only hope that this series goes on for a long time to come.  There are so many other Breeds that need to have their story told.  Next up is Mercury Warrant's story ~ Mercury's War ~ coming out late this summer... I can hardly wait!

     Yet another amazing chapter in Lora Leigh's Breeds series.  The characters are strong and even during the worst, manage to hold onto the honour that makes these heroes and heroines just that.
  I especially enjoyed the deeper look into the science of the Breed's and their mating heat... that was one of the things that first struck me as the story progressed.  I truly found it fascinating; as always this is a wonderful and tantalizing romance  ~ of course, it's also a very steamy and HOT read.

    It doesn't matter how many of Lora Leigh's books that I read, each story is fresh and very much the story of the hero and heroine.  How she manages this, after thirteen Breed stories alone I don't know, but it's true.  Jacob and Faith's story is their own... not like anyone else's.  The emotional content is also quite unique ~ it's as though Ms. Leigh merely sits back and lets the characters tell their own story: Magic, purely magic. 

BTW, the image of the cover is larger than I usually use, but if I used a smaller size the really, really good looking guy on the front wouldn't show up near as well!  So whaddya going to do?  Resize it!

Guilty reading pleasure time! I just can't keep away from Lora Leigh's books and this time it definitely was worth it.

A novel of the Feline Breeds. I looked on Amazon, and there appear to be other Breeds books out there by this author, but with slightly different series names (e.g. Coyote Breeds).

Please be aware that this series deals with difficult issues, like kidnapping, physical and psychological torture, and rape.

     Well, I’m finally all caught up on Lora Leigh’s Feline Breeds series ~ until Dawn’s Awakening is released right away.  Not sure yet if I’m going to rush out and get it as I’ve already got all her to-date-releases of her Wolf Breeds and the one Coyote Breed stories… as well as a few hundred other books.  So far this month my TBR challenge is kind of, uh… slowing down.  Guess I’m going to have to do better!
