Buchanan family

 This series  about the Buchanans is n excellent read

This is Walker Buchanan's story. An ex-marine he is on a quest to find the girlfriend of a colleague who had died saving his life. With a letter and a first name only he searches for the young woman. 

The last book in the Buchanan family series.  Story of Dani and Alex.  I loved this series and Dani's book was great.  I loved the interaction between Dani's step siblings from her biological father's family with Alex.  Some very sweet moments between Dani and her step sister too.
