Tomorrow morning I'm leaving Carson City, Nevada, with my 1955 vintage travel trailer and heading for Lincoln City on the Oregon coast. My ladies' camping/travel/adventure club will be holding a Crab Fest on the beach. I'm so ready to walk the wide Oregon beach. It's been too long since I've been to the sea.

Many of you know I moved from California to Minnesota almost two years ago. It has been quite a change of pace, living in a much colder climate. But what I wasn't expecting so much, is that the sping and summer storms can get very wild.
