I thought long and hard about what my 100th book would be.  Then I chose to read the final Chase Brothers book by Lauren Dane.  It was an awesome choice for my landmark book.  I have enjoyed this entire series, but this one was so emotional I can't begin to describe it in mere words.

Liv Davis has just about given up on her happily ever after.  Burned by love more than once, she's beginning to think Mr. Right isn't in the cards for her.

Cassie Gambol is on the run.  In what seems like another lifetime, her ex-husband nearly ended her life and effectively ended her successful career as a vascular surgeon.  But even though the justice system found him guilty of attempted murder, he fled while awaiting sentencing and Carly Sutherland became Cassie Gambol.

     I've had this book in my queue for awhile, and as it fit in so nicely with this month's challenge ~ Lauren Dane is another NTM author ~ I was very happy to finally get to it.  Let me say that before I had gone halfway through the story, I had already ordered the other three Chase Brothers stories.  Now all I'm waiting for is a chance to get to them... as well as the other Lauren Dane story that I have on tap ~ Standoff ~ which I plan on getting to as soon as possible... it's a paranormal romance featuring werewolves and it's part of the Cascadia Wolves series.  Yummy!
