This was an enjoyable read. I usually don't like 1st-person, b/c it doesn't allow you to get in the hero's pov, but Corbit showed a good development of the relationship through use of dialogue, which so many times is lacking in romances.

I also enjoyed the Michigan lakeside setting.

Second in the Sophie Katz books. Sophie's b-i-l is murdered, and naturally her sister is the prime suspect. Sophie hires sexy P.I. Anatoly to help figure out who did do it and why. A good mix of characters, humor, sexual tension and changing suspects. Funny scene between Anatoly and Sophie involving her addiction to coffee and espresso beans. :) I liked this one better than the first. Read it for the characters and snappy dialog, not the mystery.
