Holy cow. It's flipping mid-August. How did that happen?

The 2008 NOLA Written in the Stars conference in Shreveport, LA was a blast! I got home yesterday evening, and I am happy to say I took a TON of pictures, including those of the editors and agents that attended. I'm tweaking the first few chapters of my wip in preparation of the Written in the Stars conference in Shreveport this coming Friday and Saturday. I have everything I need, and it's all ready to go: everything from clothes to appointments to the hotel room.

Can I admit I'm a bit nervous about going?  Is there such a thing as pre-conference jitters? 

I recently learned that the RWA NOLA North Louisiana Stars conference will be going on in Shreveport, La on Feb 21 - Mar 1.  The fee is $105 for non-RWA members, hotel and meal costs not included.

I'm seriously thinking about going because of the lineup of agents and acquiring editors that will be in attendance.  The fee is low enough, I can actually afford it.

Last year I played hermit and didn't go to any conferences.  And while it was wonderful, I found I missed seeing my friends and I missed getting a chance to meet and hang out with readers.  So, this year, I'm back on the conference bandwagon.
