Contemporary Romance

This is a wonderfully crafted story. All of the characters are fleshed out and three dimensional. Duncan's and Raven path to happiness has it troubles, but their journey is a joy to watch.

I've been following Jen since her first book and she always delivers a solid romance, with compelling characters and believable circumstances. Alicia has been secretly dating Rick Jones, knowing if her protective older brother found out, he'd interfere with the blossoming relationship.

I love feisty females and Alice sure fits that description and she also has a wonderful sense of the ridiculous. She and Harley make quite the pair.It was also good to see Harley develop from a cocky young know it all to a man with substance. It was great to catch up with old characters as well as new who are starting on a new and dangerous adventure. I am looking forward to the ongoing series.

Bella Hudson escaped to France to avoid the media...then she bumped into handsome Sam Garrison while running from a photographer. Sam assisted her, but he wasn't willing to allow her to escape from him. The two spend a night of passion together, and then Sam offers to continue to help her with the press so that they will stop focusing on her break up with her former co-star.

Phoebe wants to adopt the baby, but she is working on a deadline since Baby Nina will be placed in foster care soon. Phoebe suggests they marry in order to buy the baby time out of foster care.

Sunny well constructed romance. Phillips keeps it fresh and sensual. Her breezy story moves fast. Like an island vacation that's over too soon. Perfect summer read.
