Nikki is a leutenant in the US Coast Guard and an Athena grad. She takes vacation time to hunt a person "Diviner" who has info her school needs. This hunt takes her to Hong Kong and teams her up with a police detective Johnny Zhao, a martial arts expert.
This is an interesting series.

Since she wears a necklace with a D on it they decide to go by the name Dee. Jake is a natural protector who takes her in and tries to help her. Soon it is evident that someone is after her.
