Contempory Romance

This is a wonderful book about someone coming into their own after facing adversity for the first time in their life. That is what happened to Haven Travis. Then she meets Hardy Cates who seems to be the wrong man for her but is he? The question is has she grown enough to make the right decision and is he able to let go of his past.

It was okay, I can't beleive how some men are so slow on the uptake. It took him forever to figure out she was the one. The shame of it was that she was always in front of him. He did find out their was strength behind that pretty face. She found out that he was a man that wants to protect as well as love his woman.

I  love this series. In this book Ms. Fredd brings Renee Foster to life. Yes, she is a genius but she hasn't had an easy life. She has to learn to trust again. The perfect man for her is Chris and this one has to learn to settle down.  I enjoyed the ride.

As the only expelled student from Athena Academy, Shannon Connor has always tried to prove her worth especially as a news reporter for a TV station.   For years now she has gotten calls with great tips for news that put Athena grads in a seemingly negative light.  Now she has her life in danger and her source seems to mysteriously help her but she must go to China.

I enjoyed the book. I chose it because of the woman's career . She is a mechanic who restores cars. I like people with unusual careers it also helps that she is feisty. The sheik was a little slow in realizing he loves her. but what can I say men are stupid sometimes.

I like keeping up with the gang in Jacobsville, Tx. I also enjoy reading about an older man making a fool of himself over a ypounger woman that he thinks can not keep up. He does not realize her hidden stregnths untill almost to late. I would like to thank you Ms. Palmer for a job well done.
