Having her scathing letter condemning the film star Rod Bartlett's morals—or lack of!—published had stirred up far more controversy than Keilly Grant had ever anticipated. One thing she certainly hadn't bargained for, though, was the disturbing passion the mysterious Rick Richards aroused in her when he suddenly turned up to delve into her reasons for writing a personal attack on a complete stranger in the first place. After all, Rod Bartlett would never be anything to her—would he?

My Review:

The heroine's cousin lost her virginity to the hero, an actor, 8 years ago or so.  The cousin was eaten up by guilt over her indiscretion and blamed the hero for seducing her with "promises of marriage".  The heroine now thinks very badly of the hero because of the things she heard about him.  She writes a scathing letter about him, he comes to investigate the person who wrote such things.  And he is attracted to her, but he doesn't tell her who he really is.  Once she finds out, it's a bit awkward.
