The Dante Legacy
Dante’s Wedding Deception by Day LeClaire, Silhouette Desire Jul08, #1880
Nicolò Dante is the troubleshooter for the company and he found trouble in spades when Kiley O’Dell arrived with her business proposition. One problem, the Inferno came to call. He couldn’t let her touch him, but resistance was beyond his capability.
This is an amnesia story with an interesting twist. So far out of the realm of believability, but still so good. Thumbs up.

Reports indicate that Kiley O'Dell's family have a legitimate claim to the Dante fire diamond mine and it is up to Nicolo Dante to find out if she does. Nicolo doesn't believe in The Inferno but what other explanation was there for the shock that ignited when they touched. Later she is in an accident. All the time she is unconscious he pretends to be her husband in order to get regular updates. After she wakes there is no need to stop the charade because she has no memory. Whether she is a con artist or innocent won't matter when she gets her memory back, she will hate him.
Dante’s Stolen Wife by Day LeClaire, SD #1870 May08
Marco and Lazz the twins of the Dante clan have fought over women in the past. They made a pact not to poach from the other. When Lazz poaches yet again, Marco whisks Caitlyn away and marries her on the spot. Marco believes in the family’s legend about The Inferno and believes that she ‘is the one’ giving him the right to take her away.
LeClaire develops strong alpha males, but that doesn’t stop her from showing Marco’s tender passionate side. Marco is a well developed character and very likable. Caitlyn is a woman of logic who wants to run her life via her logical side, but soon discovers her passionate side. This story comes with one of the most incredible buildups to the ‘black moment’ I have ever read. The compelling forward movement in the book keeps the reader flipping the pages as fast as they possibly can. Thumbs up!
