Except he wasn't okay.  Sitting next to her in a cocoon of humidity, he was overcome with the urge to kiss her hard and well, to feel her mouth and body expand under him.  She must have sensed his intention because the tip of her tongue flicked out to moisten her pink lower lip.

If this is Lisa's debut book, then I can tell she will be a favorite around HAR!!!  I loved the quick wit and humor in this book.  If I were judging this in our Challenge forum here, it wouldn't rate too high on mushiness, but this book packs a GREAT romance story!!!  What it lacks in sexual tension, it overloads in realistic situations!!! 

He was Ceirin of Wran Cheaping.  She was the Grey Rose.  He had the power of the Bards unawakened inside him.  She had the power of the gods and a curse of death on her.  Together they might save the world--or lose it.

 I love Charles de Lint, and this is another of his truly magical books.  

This final book of The Martini Dares was a well done wrap up to the series.

Brooke is the proper Winfield sister, never letting her inner wild child out to play!  After deciding to join the Martinis & Bikinis Club and accepting a dare she does the unexpected!
