The Itailian's Passionate Revenge

Few people and events turn out to be what they seem to be on the surface. A good read.

Evan Tyler and Elena Royal rivals in the hotel industry and Evan uses an encounter between Elena to his advantage. She does not make things easy for him to say the least and misunderstandings on both parties as other obsticles stand in the way of the merging not of the Hotel chains but their lives.
I enjoyed this story and would recommend it.
A Dream to Share by Irene Hannon (Heartland Homecoming) Love Inspired 431 - Feb 08
Mark Campbell is a playboy. I didn't like him much. Until his father sends him to a small Missouri town that rolls up its sidewalks at 6 pm. Mark can either find something useful or useless to do with his time. Thankfully, he chooses the former and I start to like him as a hero. And then we find out why he is the way he is.
Abby Warner is the workaholic editor of a small town newspaper that Mark's father is looking to acquire. Mark is told to take 3 months doing a financial and operational audit of the newspaper. Shouldn't be too bad with a pretty lady like Abby to spend time with at the end of the day. Except Abby keeps her door closed and avoids Mark like the plague.
A Forgotten Magic by Kathleen O'Brien (HP 1642)

Now Kelsey and Brandon are free to love- but how can there be a future for them when Kelsey is tormented by guilt, and Brandon can't even remember the passionate promises they once made to each other?

Second-Chance Family
Jack Galloway's brother and his wife were killed in an accident. And now, Jack's been named guardian to their three children...along with his ex-wife, Roz.
Slaughterhouse-Five or The Children's Crusade: A Duty-Dance With Death by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. (1969)
This is a novel everyone should read, both because of its cultural significance and its (so-called) literary worth. I found it confusing and jumbled until I realized that Vonnegut had deliberately written in the style of one from Tralfamadore, no beginning, no end, everything told at once.
Rainbow's End
This was probably the best Love Inspired book I've ever read! It was very well written, although at times I felt the author had way more plot action to convey than her word count allowed for, and things got a tad rushed here and there, although I would way rather have an author cram and rush than stretch and dribble (yack) so that was all cool with me!
His Mistletoe Bride
Brody Taggert is struggling with Christmas seven years after his brother's death, but is forced to confront the cheerless season when newcomer Lila Grainger thrusts it upon him. Bitter and jaded Tag learns to deal with loss, and learns to love again in this sweet, small-town tale. Coming to Mills & Boon, October 2008.
