Back Cover:

'I am a close acquaintance of Crown Prince Razul's!'

Rash words indeed... Bethany was desperate to stop her deportation from Datar, and only Razul could help her. But she'd tried so hard to forget him - they'd been involved two years before, and back then Bethany hadn't been able to handle such a proud, passionate man.

Bethany got to stay in Datar. However by renewing her 'close' acquaintance with Razul she paid his price - he demanded that she become his wife!

Favourite Scene: (I love that he drops what he's doing and "flying leaps" upon her)

"I need a doctor," she told him weakly.

"A doctor?" He frowned uncertainly at her.

She pushed the sheet down from her aching arm.  "See?" she pointed out.

The tray dropped with a thunderous crash of smashing china.  She blinked in bemusement as Razul suddenly came down on the bed beside her in what could only be described as a flying leap.
